Pupillage Checklist:
This is a very, very simplistic device, and purposefully so. It's just a check list. Technically, you only need to complete the three asterisked (*) items. But unless one of your parents is an utterly shameless Head of Pupillage/Chambers at a chambers who don't give a crap about nepotism you're going to need an awful lot more. The strongest pupillage applications cover a large number of the other items as well.
Go through each of the points to see how you can evidence your experience in your pupillage applications. If you have nothing in that area you'll see ideas for how to gain experience. If you have some experience already you might find a couple of other routes you haven't yet tried. If you have already smashed it out of the park, great, now move on to the next point.
[The items appear in no particular order. Each applicant will have unique strengths and weaknesses. The checklist should be used to locate both. You should then work towards making the most of your strengths and shoring up your weakest areas.]
